Pakistan Marine Academy is Hiring – Cadets for 64th Batch (2026–2027)

Applications are invited for cadet recruitment (64th Batch) at Pakistan Marine Academy (PMA) Karachi. Selected candidates will be trained for a career as Merchant Navy Officers under the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and will receive associate degree and diplomas during training.

1. Nautical / Engineering Cadets

No. of Positions: 33 Seats (Reserved for Self-Finance Scheme)
Location: PMA, Karachi
Education:

  • FSc (Pre-Engineering) or A-Levels (Physics, Chemistry, Math) with at least 55% marks

  • For A-Level: IBCC Equivalency Certificate required
    Age Limit:

  • Maximum 20 years as of July 31, 2025

  • 21 years for AJK / Balochistan / FATA / Gilgit-Baltistan

Key Skills:

Special Notes:

  • Final selection will include a written test, physical efficiency test (PET), and medical examination.

  • Admissions will be granted solely on merit under PMA regulations.

  • Submission of application forms through PMA's website is required.

Training Benefits:

Selection Procedure:
📋 Written Test: August 10, 2025 (Sunday)
🏃‍♂️ PET Criteria:

  • Running (1.6 km): 8 mins

  • Sit-ups: 15 in 2 mins

  • Push-ups: 15 in 2 mins

  • Chin-ups: 02 in 2 mins
