Position: Incharge Cane Lab

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily cane lab operations and ensure smooth functioning.

  • Supervise calibration, maintenance, and proper use of lab equipment.

  • Maintain accurate records of all test results and prepare reports.

  • Conduct quality tests including Brix%, Pol%, Fiber%, Moisture%, Purity%, and Sucrose%.

  • Monitor sugarcane quality from different suppliers and farming zones.

  • Ensure timely sampling and analysis of incoming cane.

  • Implement best practices to improve lab efficiency and accuracy.

  • Coordinate with production team to adjust crushing parameters based on lab findings.

  • Train and guide lab technicians on testing procedures and safety protocols.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on cane quality trends.

  • Analyze test data to identify variations and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Chemistry.

  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in a cane laboratory.

  • Proficiency in cane lab testing instruments and data analysis.
